The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) called for the increased adoption of granular statistical data to direct national policy decisions and support key domestic sectors, closing out the 37th National Statistics Month on Oct. 28.

Central bank officials said accurate and timely metrics remain essential for assessing economic conditions and allocating resources effectively, particularly as the government works to expand sectors such as tourism and local enterprise. The closing ceremony, held at the BSP head office in Manila, centered on the theme “Tuklas Pilipinas: Statistics as Beacon Towards Inclusive, Resilient, and Sustainable Tourism.”
