CoinEx Charity, the philanthropic arm of global crypto firm CoinEx, has completed its fifth Starlink turnover in the Philippines, with the latest deployment in Zambales. This marks the second unit installed in schools in Subic, a municipality within the Central Luzon province.

In a media release, the charity shared that the handover took place at the office of Zambales 1st District Representative Jefferson Khonghun and was attended by his staff and members of the local media.
Alongside the Starlink terminal, CoinEx Charity also donated a printer to Agusuhin School in Subic following the school’s request for additional learning resources. Moreover, the printer is also expected to support both students and teachers by enabling the production of learning materials and lesson plans.
According to the organization, the initiative aims to improve access to high-speed internet and digital tools in underserved communities.
Dell Omasas, the Country Project Manager for CoinEx Charity in the Philippines, told BitPinas that Agusuhin School initially reached out through their official page. After assessing the request, the team recognized the school’s challenging circumstances and remote location, which made it a deserving beneficiary of the program.
The program, part of CoinEx Charity’s “Bridge to Hope: Starlink Program,” seeks to address connectivity barriers in remote areas through satellite internet while promoting educational development.
“By providing internet access through Starlink technology and other learning tools, the initiative directly addresses barriers that prevent many communities from fully benefiting from the digital age. For Zambales, this latest turnover represents more than an infrastructure improvement. It is a promise of equal opportunities where students can access online resources, and communities can explore digital opportunities for livelihood and growth.”

Looking ahead, Omasas shared that CoinEx Charity Starlink Program is set to give out more units going forward.
“Several more Starlink deployments are already scheduled for this quarter, with additional rollouts planned in the coming quarters.”

CoinEx Charity previously deployed Starlink units in Negros Occidental, Batangas, and Zambales, supporting digital access, education, and disaster recovery.
- E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental (November 22, 2024): First Starlink unit installed at the municipal hall, accompanied by digital literacy seminars for residents.
- Laurel, Batangas (November 28, 2024): Second unit installed in partnership with the Youth Council, aimed at expanding digital access and supporting education.
- Agoncillo, Batangas (December 2024): Third unit deployed for disaster recovery after Typhoon Kristine, helping restore vital connectivity.
- Sitio Gala, Subic, Zambales (July 7, 2025): Fourth unit installed at Aningway-Sacatihan Elementary and High School, with two printers donated to support school operations.
